Since the destruction of the Holy Temple Almost 2000 years, we are in a era called "Golus" for exile, no matter where we live, even those who live in the State of Israel, until it will be the ultimate redemption and the building of the third temple, for eternity.

You've probably seen this term a lot recently, on the threads regarding the rise of antisemitic attacks, a bitter pill we have to live with while being in... you got it, Golus.

Did you hear of any Messiah coming there? or any rebuilding of the Holy Temple? so the ultimate redemption didn't happen yet.

A secular state was established some 70 years ago, founded and governed by secular Jews, surrounded by millions of upset enemies, who managed to put the Jewish people over there through tremendous suffering over the time. Certainly not the ultimate redemption we're waiting and yearning for 2000 years.

So the answer is yes, Klal Yisrael on the entire globe is still in Golus. Should we see the Geulah very soon.

I asked what was the biggest threat to Jews? The answer given was: Golus? That is where I got lost.
Maybe I wasn't clear but I was asking what is the biggest threat right now for Jews living in the US.

So certainly you got the wrong answer. Golus is not a "threat".

In Golus we've gone through many many threats and horrific times. The biggest threat for Jews in the US now would be the rise of antisemitism, and the point when these animals decide to take action, as recently seen.
