A bit premature.
I got an email yesterday saying i was denied.
I called today and they couldn't find my i account and told me to call a diff. department.
I called and she told me that i was neither denied nor approved but that it looked like i was going to be approved and that i should call back after the (extended) weekend.
Whats going on?  ???

They are part of OneWorld, and don't charge YQ (CMIIW)
Check out their award travel chart, and see what looks good for you.
Dan also had a post a few years ago, comparing their rates to BA's rates. Google it.

A couple of calls and so far no luck. They won't even let me downgrade it to non visa signature version of the card (lower AF AFAIK). Did you all just cancel your CCs before the AF hit or are you actually hanging onto this at best ok card for $75/yr?

Just called...
Rep said that us bank has contract with Lan that they can't convert to any other card (cash back etc.)... But I was told that I can downgrade to a lower fee Lan card ($45)

They refused to downgrade it. Based on my research I thought it had something to do with the size of the CL...
