Stayed in a nice place in Chashmonaim (between Jerusalem and Kiryat Sefer/Modiin about a half hour from Jerusalem. I think it was called Dan's. Check it out on zimmer.co.il

Looking for a nice/decent place near tzefat for a reasonable price in January. Going for a week and want to head north for a 2 day 1 night trip. Any deals or recommendations? the biggest issue is that we are 2 adults and 4 kids.

I just spent a weekend in the mercazi/metsuda hotel, while the regular hotel rooms are not too nice they have a couple of zimmers out back that were really nice. PM me for details of how to book.

Loved Amirim, and they have a lot of options.
Fruit trees abound, and there is a mehadrin restaurant down the block, run by a chabad couple, and a shul a 10 minute walk away in the neighboring yishuv.

its so interesting that everyone i meet tells me there are amazing tzimmers, but they havent stayed there personally, only heard from others...

I've been to a few but nothing I would recommend. Never heard from someone they went to one that is really good.

I have stayed at Amirim, and loved it.
Hopefully this will negate the word 'everyone'.
