currently i only have the platinum from amex i just upgraded. my question should really be united club for 1.5 or the sapphire i think sapphire is better is this correct

If you got your points from the upgrade and the $200 airline credit, downgrade back to PRG.

Doesn't take long to get it done. Your first spend after the upgrade should trigger the 25k (should take 2-3 days to post IME) and during that time you can do the PGGM or get UA GC's. The credits from those take another day or so. All said and done, a week and you can have all your benefits of the upgrade.
