Many people have also had better luck writing to the office of the President for reconsideration on Citi cards:

HT: FT

Citi in NY pulls from either Equifax or Experian or both. YMMV even by the same person.

If you live in NJ or NY, you should freeze your Experian. They will only pull Equifax then. Otherwise, YMMV.

FOR MORE INFO, READ FT'S WIKI - IT IS PHENOMENAL, FT WIKI

Quote from the above mentioned FT WIKI:
For the most part, freezing Experian, or another bureau, will not cause Citi to pull a different bureau. They will almost certainly require you to unfreeze the bureau they wish to pull or deny your application. Some people have been successful providing the PIN but others have not. Mostly, freezing a credit bureau in an attempt to force Citi to pull a different one seems to waste time, money, and effort for little result. But YMMV.

DDF data points (As of 10/2015)
NY- pulls both EQ/EX, can still get instant approval with EX frozen
CA, OH, PA, TX- ONLY EX. Citi will refuse to pull other bureau

Benefits:..
New no forex fees starting Nov.'15

From FT Wiki:"Important exception: If you receive a Platinum World MC which is later converted to a World Elite MC (as indicated on the back of the card), the opening of that card will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule. This is true not only for conversions in early 2015, but also for those in more recent months.
Note: It makes no difference when (or whether) you activate the World Elite card. If you have the WE card in hand, then the conversion on Citi's books is already complete. There is nothing magical about activating it.
There are a few reports that some Gold World MC are being converted to Gold World Elite MC and that will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule."
UPDATE: As of 02/18/2016 (for applications after 02/09/2016), the W>WE loophole may be dead.

It says "reported" with the correct amount on page 1 on the right side.
On page 2 on the right side, it says that again and breaks them down to purchase and bonus miles accumulated.
so why mine not reported?

The question is what does it say on yours?

Well, obviously something is wrong.
May I guess that there is an issue of them not having you linked and confirmed with an aa account?

Yes, there was a typo on my first name when I set up my AA account. Should I call AA to correct or call citi to push them through?

My statement was supposed to close on Feb 14, I called in on the 4th and changed the closing date to the 4th, and was told by rep that AF won't apply until March 4... I was planing to do the spending today just to wake up to... you probably guessed... yes, the AF did post!  >:(

Huca didn't help, I get the usual "I'm really sorry and it's our fault that you got screwed over, but there's literally nothing we or anyone can do".

I'm a citi customer for quite a few years with a good relationship with my local branch, you guys think they can help in any way?
Bump.

Because most people that went for 2 cards for husband and wife hit the threshold right away and think that they might not get approved after maxing their credit line on....

FT has several people that got approved for doubles. Just to quote one guy:

Quote
:)
Approved for card #2!!!! I applied for card #1 8 days ago on 1/30/2014. I used the 100,000 mile offer on the Ft page both times.

It took 15 minutes and just had to move credit around. They did even ask about the other Executive card I applied for. Seemed like he didn't care too much.

churn churn churn!

If the miles post and there is no af on the statement would you suggest downgrading or closing?

I am thinking about doing it. I have to decide. The temptation is very big and anyone churning can tell you that Citi has been the best for us in the last 12 months. Very little effort went into the 600,000+ AA miles earned in the last year.... Some here did a lot more.
Chase has been decent, but it's not as easy in any aspect of the game.

I tried matching my 30k offer which I was approved for, for the 100k offer. They said that can't cuz two different type of cards but they did give me 50k.
Maybe that's why someone can get two cards? The 60k card is a different type from the 100k one?

But they won't let you go a penny over.
