Citi in NY pulls from either Equifax or Experian or both. YMMV even by the same person.

If you live in NJ or NY, you should freeze your Experian. They will only pull Equifax then. Otherwise, YMMV.

FOR MORE INFO, READ FT'S WIKI - IT IS PHENOMENAL, FT WIKI

Quote from the above mentioned FT WIKI:
For the most part, freezing Experian, or another bureau, will not cause Citi to pull a different bureau. They will almost certainly require you to unfreeze the bureau they wish to pull or deny your application. Some people have been successful providing the PIN but others have not. Mostly, freezing a credit bureau in an attempt to force Citi to pull a different one seems to waste time, money, and effort for little result. But YMMV.

DDF data points (As of 10/2015)
NY- pulls both EQ/EX, can still get instant approval with EX frozen
CA, OH, PA, TX- ONLY EX. Citi will refuse to pull other bureau

Benefits:..
New no forex fees starting Nov.'15

From FT Wiki:"Important exception: If you receive a Platinum World MC which is later converted to a World Elite MC (as indicated on the back of the card), the opening of that card will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule. This is true not only for conversions in early 2015, but also for those in more recent months.
Note: It makes no difference when (or whether) you activate the World Elite card. If you have the WE card in hand, then the conversion on Citi's books is already complete. There is nothing magical about activating it.
There are a few reports that some Gold World MC are being converted to Gold World Elite MC and that will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule."
UPDATE: As of 02/18/2016 (for applications after 02/09/2016), the W>WE loophole may be dead.

I did the spending on my second card it's 5 days after the closing and it says 110 points earned but 0 report how long can it take to post to my account ?  Does this mean I can wait 3 months till I get it because it is now 3 months since I open my citi business and my 50k points is still not showing up ?

My first card postet 4 days after the    closing date

Just logged in to my a advantage account and I see that they just gave me 14000+ miles and now I have exactly 40000. Its listed as transaction but I don't have such a large transaction I should of gotten arout 2k. What makes it so weird is the number of miles that make it exactly 40k.

Closing your account with a negative miles balance is a red flag.
how do you get a "negative mile balance" by just closing the account?

I have charges made today which are pending which will get me past the 10k. Problem is that my statement is closing tomorrow and the charges won't be finalized yet. Chat rep said they can't delay the closing date. Any hope?

If someone by mistake bought a refundable ticket and don't want his AA account shut, he can still buy 10K in VR's and then close his card account, like this he will gain back his negative balance so AA would have no excuse to shut him down since he actually did charge his card for 10k

Citi offered to move CL around for me, but couldn't take from the account I just closed. Yet they are saying I am at the maximum they're willing to lend.

Now I'm stuck with a net loss of CL.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

IIRC that is correct but they know. Last year for a few months I was not getting any miles. It was because of a return that made my account go negative but showed zero. The new purchases canceled out the negative miles after sometime.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

By me it showed up 2 days after the statement closed.
