Citi in NY pulls from either Equifax or Experian or both. YMMV even by the same person.

If you live in NJ or NY, you should freeze your Experian. They will only pull Equifax then. Otherwise, YMMV.

FOR MORE INFO, READ FT'S WIKI - IT IS PHENOMENAL, FT WIKI

Quote from the above mentioned FT WIKI:
For the most part, freezing Experian, or another bureau, will not cause Citi to pull a different bureau. They will almost certainly require you to unfreeze the bureau they wish to pull or deny your application. Some people have been successful providing the PIN but others have not. Mostly, freezing a credit bureau in an attempt to force Citi to pull a different one seems to waste time, money, and effort for little result. But YMMV.

DDF data points (As of 10/2015)
NY- pulls both EQ/EX, can still get instant approval with EX frozen
CA, OH, PA, TX- ONLY EX. Citi will refuse to pull other bureau

Benefits:..
New no forex fees starting Nov.'15

From FT Wiki:"Important exception: If you receive a Platinum World MC which is later converted to a World Elite MC (as indicated on the back of the card), the opening of that card will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule. This is true not only for conversions in early 2015, but also for those in more recent months.
Note: It makes no difference when (or whether) you activate the World Elite card. If you have the WE card in hand, then the conversion on Citi's books is already complete. There is nothing magical about activating it.
There are a few reports that some Gold World MC are being converted to Gold World Elite MC and that will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule."
UPDATE: As of 02/18/2016 (for applications after 02/09/2016), the W>WE loophole may be dead.

I applied for the biz and got an email saying:
“Thank you for your interest in the CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® Card account. We’re reviewing your application submitted on 06/20/2018 and will get back to you within 7-10 days.
For the most up-to-date information on your application, you can check the status online.”
I checked the status where it says:
“We are still reviewing your application.
Thank you for your CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® Card application. We’re still reviewing it. Depending on how quickly we’re able to process your information, we may post a decision here in 24 hours, so feel free to check back then. We’ll be in touch in approximately 7-10 days via mail or email with a decision.”

What would you recommend?

Just to add, it's the first Citi card I'm applying for. I have a credit score of about 800.

Shabbat Shalom!

Applied on Invite for 65K points. I chatted to try to get matched for 75K they told me I have to call. I called and was told I need to tell them what the offer code is for the 75K because it might be AA offers and not there(?) any other options?

A commenter on DDMS said he was declined for the CitiBusiness AA card due to not having 5 yrs of credit history. Does anyone have any info on whether that's actually a rule?

I got declined for it a while back due to credit history being too new, but even now my history isn't 5 yrs old yet.

Age is a HUGE thing with Citi Business cards, as well as a high FICO score and large CLs.
Pretty sure there is no set numbers for any of them.

My history is only around 3 yrs old (but no business cards), and the only high CL that I have is 20k on an Amex. FICO is 754. What do you think: should I try, or is it a waste of a credit pull?

(I hear they won't combine the pull for a biz card with personal cards so I can't even get another card out of this pull with a 2bm. Am I right to assume so?)
