HT: FT

Citi in NY pulls from either Equifax or Experian or both. YMMV even by the same person.

If you live in NJ or NY, you should freeze your Experian. They will only pull Equifax then. Otherwise, YMMV.

FOR MORE INFO, READ FT'S WIKI - IT IS PHENOMENAL, FT WIKI

Quote from the above mentioned FT WIKI:
For the most part, freezing Experian, or another bureau, will not cause Citi to pull a different bureau. They will almost certainly require you to unfreeze the bureau they wish to pull or deny your application. Some people have been successful providing the PIN but others have not. Mostly, freezing a credit bureau in an attempt to force Citi to pull a different one seems to waste time, money, and effort for little result. But YMMV.

DDF data points (As of 10/2015)
NY- pulls both EQ/EX, can still get instant approval with EX frozen
CA, OH, PA, TX- ONLY EX. Citi will refuse to pull other bureau

Benefits:..
New no forex fees starting Nov.'15

From FT Wiki:"Important exception: If you receive a Platinum World MC which is later converted to a World Elite MC (as indicated on the back of the card), the opening of that card will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule. This is true not only for conversions in early 2015, but also for those in more recent months.
Note: It makes no difference when (or whether) you activate the World Elite card. If you have the WE card in hand, then the conversion on Citi's books is already complete. There is nothing magical about activating it.
There are a few reports that some Gold World MC are being converted to Gold World Elite MC and that will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule."
UPDATE: As of 02/18/2016 (for applications after 02/09/2016), the W>WE loophole may be dead.

FYI a friend of mine applied about 2 weeks ago for the 40k offer, I told him today there was a 50k offer available. He SM'd them and "gave him 10k bonus as a 1 time courtesy"
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

They don't usually do it.
Dunno. Maybe a wave of goodwill has passed over Citi.
Just allow us a 4bm with 4 of the same card!

-1, hardly the first report of Citi matching.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Nitantnel did a 2BM with 2 Citi cards and there was no instant approval, he called and was approved for both!!!
The questions are:
Which 2 cards?
What did he tell them so they approved him?
Is Citi back to successful 2BM's??

Why should a senior DDF'er waste a pull for a single card?

No, I did not do a 2BM, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I did two apps for two SSNs.

I also did a business + personal the other day (for yet a third SSN), who got approved for both. I don't know how many pulls that resulted in.

Why not? What else are they going to apply for if their Amex timers aren't up and they just churned Chase?

And if Citi pulls from a lone bureau.

You are eligible for ONE (personal) Visa card (not sure the maskana with the WMC), then another in 8/9 days. No need for new FF#.

Does a business card go into that klal of one per week, I see reports that it works in a 2bm for personal and business. Does it have a different Din and therefore a week after the 2bm another personal could be applied for?

Does freezing ex. help?

Maybe a senior DDF'er understands how pulls work?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half
