Citi in NY pulls from either Equifax or Experian or both. YMMV even by the same person.

If you live in NJ or NY, you should freeze your Experian. They will only pull Equifax then. Otherwise, YMMV.

FOR MORE INFO, READ FT'S WIKI - IT IS PHENOMENAL, FT WIKI

Quote from the above mentioned FT WIKI:
For the most part, freezing Experian, or another bureau, will not cause Citi to pull a different bureau. They will almost certainly require you to unfreeze the bureau they wish to pull or deny your application. Some people have been successful providing the PIN but others have not. Mostly, freezing a credit bureau in an attempt to force Citi to pull a different one seems to waste time, money, and effort for little result. But YMMV.

DDF data points (As of 10/2015)
NY- pulls both EQ/EX, can still get instant approval with EX frozen
CA, OH, PA, TX- ONLY EX. Citi will refuse to pull other bureau

Benefits:..
New no forex fees starting Nov.'15

From FT Wiki:"Important exception: If you receive a Platinum World MC which is later converted to a World Elite MC (as indicated on the back of the card), the opening of that card will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule. This is true not only for conversions in early 2015, but also for those in more recent months.
Note: It makes no difference when (or whether) you activate the World Elite card. If you have the WE card in hand, then the conversion on Citi's books is already complete. There is nothing magical about activating it.
There are a few reports that some Gold World MC are being converted to Gold World Elite MC and that will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule."
UPDATE: As of 02/18/2016 (for applications after 02/09/2016), the W>WE loophole may be dead.

Yes (based on many reports). It will be two pulls, though.

Why isn't anybody going for the Citi AA Executive card 60k bonus?
It's considered a seperate card, so you can get the bonus even if you recantly had the AA personal.
(Has a $450 annual fee, but I believe you can get that back if you close quick enough)

I would not bother for another 10k over the regular applications of 50k.

But what if you already recently had it?

Good point.  Well taken.  I suppose in that case it might be worthwhile.

What I am doing is churning the business card repeatedly and churning the personal card every 18 months or so.  For the moment I don't want to bother with this application.

Also, as per the  FT wiki: No more than 2 Citi applications of any kind in 60 days (65 days to be safe).

I haven't been approved for a biz card in 18 months but I had an application denied in between bec that one was within 18 months, is there a point in reapplying now?

The 18-month restriction doesn't apply to AA business.

Only restrictions that do apply are ,
"No more than 2 Citi applications of any kind in 60 days (65 days to be safe).
No more than 1 Citi business application in 90 days (95 to be safe)."

So you should be ok.

Please read the rules on the FT thread.  The 18 month (general) rule only applies to the personal cards and not the business cards.  There are other rules you have to follow, however, for the business card.

How likely are they to ask for further documentation for my business? If they do will they close my personal cards if I don't send the docs in?
