Citi in NY pulls from either Equifax or Experian or both. YMMV even by the same person.

If you live in NJ or NY, you should freeze your Experian. They will only pull Equifax then. Otherwise, YMMV.

FOR MORE INFO, READ FT'S WIKI - IT IS PHENOMENAL, FT WIKI

Quote from the above mentioned FT WIKI:
For the most part, freezing Experian, or another bureau, will not cause Citi to pull a different bureau. They will almost certainly require you to unfreeze the bureau they wish to pull or deny your application. Some people have been successful providing the PIN but others have not. Mostly, freezing a credit bureau in an attempt to force Citi to pull a different one seems to waste time, money, and effort for little result. But YMMV.

DDF data points (As of 10/2015)
NY- pulls both EQ/EX, can still get instant approval with EX frozen
CA, OH, PA, TX- ONLY EX. Citi will refuse to pull other bureau

Benefits:..
New no forex fees starting Nov.'15

From FT Wiki:"Important exception: If you receive a Platinum World MC which is later converted to a World Elite MC (as indicated on the back of the card), the opening of that card will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule. This is true not only for conversions in early 2015, but also for those in more recent months.
Note: It makes no difference when (or whether) you activate the World Elite card. If you have the WE card in hand, then the conversion on Citi's books is already complete. There is nothing magical about activating it.
There are a few reports that some Gold World MC are being converted to Gold World Elite MC and that will no longer count for purposes of the 18-month rule."
UPDATE: As of 02/18/2016 (for applications after 02/09/2016), the W>WE loophole may be dead.

Yes they kept insisting they can only pull from Experian
I think its about time we take the suggestion out of the wiki to freeze Experian, as it hasn't been working lately.
At the very least it should be changed to 'some people have had luck freezing their Experian account' but the way it's written now sounds like it always works which is not the case.

You may be right in general but if you scroll up a bit you'll see that Mr. Wonderlust was actually one of those who WAS successful getting them to pull a different bureau.

You can't even move personal to personal, never mind biz to personal.
Where should I start?  :)
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

When was the last time you did it? For the past few months their "system was down"... (i.e. they're reevaluating it)

What's the most economical way to get AA miles into an empty AAdvantage account? Buy 1k miles for $66 through AA.com or transfer 1,500 points from Starwood? I know Starwood points are valuable and better used for hotel bookings, etc

Was not told how long the wait will be.  Another issue - my CC statement says 0 miles reported to AA.  That must be part of the glitch.  When I called they confirmed that my miles were there and would be transferred to my AA account.

I just noticed the same thing on my statement that 55k accumulated but 0 has been sent over. I don't mind if its just something that takes a few days,...

Don't mean to be ignorant but do I just contact customer service via "contact us," or is there a corporate email or should I just PUTPAC? And do you mean that they matched the 50k points for you?
Could I get help with this? ^^^ TIA
