Chase rep told me there is no way to know for certain if it qualifies for 5x points until I purchase and she can see what it comes up as...anyone found out?

Not sure what your question is, but e-gc is called an e-gc bec it's just that.  It gets emailed to you.

If you purchase a $250 e-gc, you'll get $10 x 5 promo e-gc. Not $50.
