Fair enough, it's always worth getting a seat IMHO if you can't finagle a free one. Much easier when they're strapped into a carseat.
But with CX F, I don't think it's worth getting a seat for a 2 month old.

Especially since 1)It's hard to find 3 F seats this summer (not waiting till last minute) 2)The whole forward facing car seat thing.

What are you going to do with your child for the flight?

+100000 my flights to E"Y on The El Al deal were sooooo much easier because my baby had a seat (although they were still far from simple)

I'd still get a seat if possible.
Rafi slept on the bed.  My wife was nervous but the FAs brought tons of pillows so that he wouldn't fall.
If I knew about the issues I would have brought along the Cosco Scenera convertible carseat and put him in in forward facing on the flight and used it rear facing in the car.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Maybe a mod can merge it into the thread discussing this topic. (I think it exits s/w)

To bring it back on-topic. Yankel Miller says he was once in London and got an emergency call for a Levaya so he had to take a Concord flight. He landed before the Petirah :))
