Anyone know of any discounts on a one day truck rental? In ny..I tried penske..any other leads???

When I needed a truck for a day I found Uhaul to be the cheapest and most convenient. But I guess it depends on miles needed.
Also Uhaul has different rates for same location vs. one way. Be sure to check both.

i found budget to be the cheapest. just did a one way cus it was unlimited mileage. But it worked out for us the cheapest to drive, and than fly one way back, and than rent a budget truck for a one way as apposed to drive both ways and pay per mileage.

10 ft truck(100 mi. free)- $83.99+$7.45(tax) +(.29* 100 mi.)$29=$120.44

i imagine u need to add on insurance as well.. keep that in mind.

Generally not on trucks. Your car insurance may cover though. Home Depot requires you to have car insurance to rent from them. (they don't offer any other insurance)
