Where are you seeing an EXL for 25k? Maybe an LX ...
This was a really weird 'question' to ask, considering he didn't mention anything about EXL (and neither did the person he was responding to).

If a leasing company claims that their are no odysseys exl w/o nav on the market, should I ask around, or if he says so he knows what he's talking?

They were liquidating them recently at $25k. But if it was PAL you should ask around.

If you do find you could probably get a good deal...

Um, am I missing something? Guy asked about exl clearly.

:-[ Well that's embarrassing. My bad. I was half right - me and my parenthetical comments.

I was thinking of this guy
anyone here recently took a lease on a Odyssey? took one by a local leasing company and im waiting already 2 weeks to get it, they say that all dealers are now backdated and everyone has to wait 2 3 weeks, is that true?
and probably just misread the newer comment.

-Someone else leases for me. How does that affect their insurance?
Anyone know about this? Can the car be registered to someone other than the name on credit app?

So my application for a lease is denied because of credit.

What options are there?
-Cosigner won't help (they told me)
-One pay. Does that mean I lose the money paid if I total the car? Or anything like that? Where does gap insurance come in?
-Someone else leases for me. How does that affect their insurance?
-Someone else leases under a business. How does that affect price of lease? I know insurance is higher for business leases.
-I lease under a business?
Any other solutions?

Highly unlikely that if you only have 1 can and you have a family big enough for a mini van that you'll only use 7.5k, but possible I guess.
I put less than 7.5k on my cars (historically, only one at a time), and I leased a Honda Pilot for the 8 seats (though no cargo room). Oh do I (and my kids) miss the good old Chevy Astro which was the last owned car.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Yes (kind of) I have a car registered to Corp while Credit App is using all personal info. And GEICO let's you get a regular auto policy even if car is registered to Corp. Saves thousands over getting a commercial policy.

I was just getting quotes for a few different cars. One of the dealers mentioned it but I was never really interested in it.

I ended up with an RDX.

PAL has the Grand Cherokee for 299 but 7.5k miles.
I'm not who you think I am.

Forgot to add. Need like 15k or 20k miles. But can put down a lot.

ETA: PAL said around $415 for 15k miles and $1500 down.

$1,500 including bank fee + registration? Or that $1,500 just counts towards principal?
