If I have a residence out of NY, is it worth it to register the car there for cheaper taxes and insurance?

Be straight up with the insurance company about how often you stay there

Insurance can be substantially cheaper but on the chance that you have a claim that they wonít approve because of it IMO it isnít worth it

How could insurance prove that you don't park out of NY frequently enough?

Anyone in NY want to take over a lease for a 2016 Rogue, 12000 miles and a year left. Has a 5000k damage waiver. Price is 214 a month.

Just leased a Rouge SV with the premium package. The premium package is worth every penny! The 2 main features I love are the 360 degree parking cameras, and the 2 position memory seat/side mirrors - my wife and I both drive it and our heights are a foot apart.

My dad loves the intelligent cruise control that brakes...

the $325/month option looks decent as long as you only need to put $895 total down and you can live with 10K miles/yr.
Some dealerships allow for $1K scratch allowance upon return. Check with them.

The new 2019 models are very nice, so the cheapest that you'll get in the future won't save you more than $20 month in my experience....

Then I realized their rates do not include tax. After tax, the 325 becomes 359.
