How does it work? $0 down, you take over the payments/miles/damage waiver, you cover the disposition fee, and there are no other charges from the leasing company or swapalease?
I'm not sure 100% but i assume Swapalease will take their cut. I dont think Leasing company will charge, you just continue the previous lease. Anyone else have experience with this?

I used them myself for a Nissan Altima which I wanted to get rid of, I paid a one time membership fee to have that car listed and have thousands of buyers to see my car.

After a buyer finds the car he likes , he will contact you and from there you give him over the information, check his credit and transfer over the lease. No, swap a lease does not take any money from the buyer.

Any thoughts on the Odyssey? the EXL is about $470 right now. Worth waiting for a sale? Prices are higher than when I leased 3 years ago... Interest rates rising not helping.

Minivans are just going up for now. the banks have an abundance of minivans laying around.

Wouldn't that mean they should be going down?

No. because banks cant sell them fast enough since everyone is switching to SUV so the residual value goes down and lease prices go up.

But at the end of the day supply and demand would make you think that prices will go down as when they cant sell for higher prices they would lower them

Not quite. A new car is owned by the dealership they sell it to the bank and when ur lease is up the bank takes back the car and they sell it so if they cant sell it fast enough or for enough profit they will raise the leasing prices not to lose money

If you want a good condition oddessy right now, trying buying an off lease/certified pre-owned. If it's true that banks are siting on all of this inventory, the prices on those should fall.

This is kind of the wrong thread to post in, but I’m looking to BUY a car, preferably in the 14k-15k range. A full size car like a Camry or Accord, maybe 2-3 years old. I was thinking that my best bet would be to buy out someone’s lease when they’re done, does anyone know how that works?
Is my assumption wrong, that I would get the best deal by buying out a lease?
Any advice is greatly appreciated! TIA
