Rodo's prices don't include tax?
Not in my experience...they charge it at the time of lease

False, I have 2 from rodo, the price you see is the price you pay. That's literally the company's moto.

In fact, I'd say it's the opposite, the haimeshe places advertise in huge font the monthly amount and in the fine print you see you need to put down a whole lot more upfront.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

+1

They were around $10-15 less a month than the cheapest offer from local leasing places. With 2k more mpy. Minivan was delivered through dch. The price they quoted me is the price I’m paying

yea, but they aren't like the Haimeshe places that include the taxes except DAS 1400 or 1500

you end up paying the same.

not sure where you've leased from in the past but I've only asked for the All rolled in quote and the numbers came back within $10/M. an added benefit when dealing with local lease companies is that you have more flexibility when returning the car. a little damage will go through as apposed to returning back to rodo...they are more "Machmir".

Same. I am very happy with rodo.

I currently have one with Rodo aswell and it was an easy smooth process. I defiantly agree that you can find some amazing deals (currently Acura Mdx for $350- Somehow they stacked 10k discounts)

What is the difference financially between leasing and then taking advantage of the option to buy out the vehicle at the end of the lease versus buying a vehicle out right? Considering buying new but thinking that leasing will give me an option to dispose of the car if i choose. Seems to me that the monthly payments would be lower on the lease just not sure where that money goes.

here's an example:

2021-2024: 100,000 miles
at 2024 your car is worth 15K
leasing cost: 10k
Total cost:25k

but if you only drive 40k miles, car is worth 20K, total cost is 30K which may cost more than buying it straight out.
Also, consider that you'll have to pay 2 sided insurance, which you might to get on your new purchase anyway.

A year into covid and minivan prices are still through the roof. Will they ever get back to normal?

Anyone have experience with leasing with CAL Automotive vs the manufacturer captive finance firms? Any issues with lease wear and tear charges, etc.?

Not only minivans, but limited incentives across the board. Not a great time to be looking for a car if you are looking for deals.

Upon the information on this thread I went ahead secured a car with RODO fr $227 a month - the next morning I get email confirming that it is available and I should upload my license and fill out a credit form - at this point I heard nothing from the dealer. I called RODO and was told I would hear something at the latest this morning. I now received a voicemail that the car is available but the pricing is $290 a month. a bunch of apoligies but no car or any other similar one at that price.

Beware of RODO - all I have to show for myself is 2 days of Ubering and alot of frustration.

After doing further research it seems RODO is a hit or miss. There are many people who things work out smoothly for, however it seems too common that a dealer advertises a false price, or does not update the correct price. Obviously RODO needs to do a better job picking partners or making sure they are accurate.

If you do not mind the risk and frustration and time it might be worth a shot.
