My lease from allstate was due this month so i called for current deals. he recommended that i just extend my lease until after summer because there is such a shortage which is driving up prices. I appreciated the honesty and sound advice
extended another 6 months

Any updates? Any ideas for an 8 seater? My minivan is expiring at the end of the month.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/global-chip-shortage-is-far-from-over-as-wait-times-get-longer-11635413402

Shortage is only getting worse. Delivery times for chips are 3 weeks longer than it was in the summer. Don't expect this normalize in the next few months.

Lol. "Chips" are not made all by one company in one factory on one process. It really depends on what chips they need. But, yes, don't expect it to be over in a few months.

The source is an external firm, not a chip producer. And yes, while the average chip is 22 week delivery time, chips needed most for cars is 38 weeks

The problem is everyone is trying to stockpile chips. At some point when everyone has enough stockpiled, demand will tank.

The source is an external firm, not a chip producer. And yes, while the average chip is 22 week delivery time, chips needed most for cars is 38 weeks
The question is how much supply they're getting. They may get enough orders in place to produce at full capacity even if any new orders are 3 years out.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Some guy in Lakewood is offering lots of cash if you let him buy out yourt lease. All he needs is 31 days notice.

He offered me close to 10K for a minivan. He said he would send a truck to pick it up.

Anybody know how this works? Sound ligit?
