Stopped by one today and an accord ex-l v6 with nav 12k miles is around $335 a month. Out of pocket is 1st month, bank fee, and transfer. For about $10 less a month you can get a hyundai sonata 2.0 limited (the highest trim level.) The hyundai has both heated and i think cooled seats. Accord only has heated. Hyundai the rear seats are heated.
Q50 I was told around $385 for the premium with nav and awd.

I really don't need a car for the next 3 months, although I wouldn't mind having one. Does the price difference justify getting one now?

This discussion is ridiculous. The mid-size sedan is the least differentiated segment in the car market. Because of that fact, personal preferences will play a bigger role than in any other segment. So basically choosing between an Accord and an Altima is as close as you can get for a car decision to choosing between vanilla and chocolate ice cream.

It's pretty obvious that everyone here thinks they are incomparable.

there is a $1000 visa gift card rebate for getting the Altima as well. Not really sure the details, but it has something to do with edmunds.com. I'll try to find out.

Accord > Altima
Not me. I've driven plenty of models of both cars. Anybody who knows anything about cars will tell you the difference between a comparably priced Accord and Altima (or Camry, etc.) is negligible relative to the vast majority of other car types.

Of course.
However, those are the models that are often advertised on the special lease deals.
They can be as low as $179/mo. With that type of price point, they become a popular option.

Not sure what you're trying to say. I'm responding to yuneeq, rots, and others who seem shocked that anyone would even consider an Altima. My point was that the midsize sedan market is so closely grouped, and the difference between different brands so slim, that price and personal preference are more logically the deciding factors. If you're in that market, go out and test drive your options, you may find you prefer the one you didn't expect to like as much.

Srry the sample size is OOS

On a serious note,
I heard from 4 different  people and 1 of them leased both Nissan and infinity.
And each 1 of them told me it's a famous thing that they rip you off by the return of the lease.

:D I like it, corny wordplay is right up my alley.

I'm not saying I can't imagine it's true... of course different companies can have different standards. But I don't put much stock in a handful of people saying 'it's a famous thing'. Who's to say they wouldn't have been charged as much returning a car in that exact condition to another manufacturer?

ETA: Also, I would imagine if it's sooooo famous I wouldn't have a problem finding mention of it online. I haven't come up with anything after numerous different Google searches, maybe you'll have better luck.

I own. 5 yrs and 100k bought it at 23k. Still in perfect brand new condition. Put in no money except the typical oil change. (Someone paid for a new bumper). I'm happy with my choice

Lol, is that a joke? This is the car lease thread. Reliability is basically a non-factor when leasing (it does factor into the lease prices historically speaking, but obviously that's built in to whatever price the consumer sees).

Either way, you're missing my point. If you prefer the Accord, that's fine. But for anyone to say that an Altima is not comparable to an Accord (implying people should stay away from the Altima lease) is laughable.

Anyone know anything about this $1000 rebate form Edmunds if you buy or lease a Nissan?? Seems like alot of the "frum" leasing companies are taking these after they lease you your car... Seems to me that this falls into the category of "fraud" .. The T&C of the rebate states not for dealers...
