some people buy used, repainted police cars. Possibly not in best condition, but souped up engines; great, smooth pick up speed.

Is Toyota credit easy to get approved for?

I know Ford is easy, Honda is hard - that's the type of thing I'm referring to....
Toyota is NOT easy

can't imagine why, with leasing so dirt cheap these days, the companies clearly have the residual values wrong...

Which was cheaper?
Some insurers allow you to quote potential replacement vehicle insurance costs online.

If your not in the biz you dont actually know whats going on. I'm not in the biz but I can speculate (and base on friends who do leasing) that with the competition now days there is much less money to make. And that normally dealers take a nice commission on each car they sell, making the MSRP much higher than what the dealer gets it for.  Combine the two points above - they have a small margin of income and are getting it for cheaper than you - viola, the numbers are right although seem wrong. Sorry if I didnt explain this well, and missed/skipped a few steps.
I'm not who you think I am.

Returning a lease (Toyota) with bad brakes that need desperately to be changed. Is that a problem?

They usually don't check that by inspection.

FYI, great deals on the BMW 3 if anyone is interested. I took home a well-equipped 328 for 314 w/ no down. PM me for more details.

I got quoted a base model rouge today from the dealership for $199 with 1395 down. It almost sounded to good to be true. Taxes for NJ were included

12k/36m? Rogue, and not Rogue select, right?

If the 1395 is the drive off, that's great. If it's an actual down payment, it's ok, but not amazing.

I'm pretty sure it was the rouge as that's the car we were talking about. Not even sure what the select is?

It was 12/36. What do you mean drive off vs actual down payment?

Does the $1395 include fees such as acquisition, dmv, document, etc.
