I've been periodically checking this thread for news about an suv lease that I can use. I live in NJ.
I found a loaded Rogue with AWD for 239/mo and am very happy about it.
I was scared to take over someone else's lease, but if you do your research, it should be ok
That's a great deal! Rouge SL?

Theres some truth to this but if u know the right things to say ull be fine
Also it's the bank not the leasing company
It seems like times have changed. I managed to get another month for a total of 2 months. But the rep said that is the max he can do

Why don't you get your leasing company to call for you? They should know how to get it done

Tell them you'll get your next car from them, they're choosing not to help you out but they can if they want to.

FYI It seems leasing companies have really cracked down on extending a lease. I've tried specifically with Nissan but I've heard from others that everyone has as of late. They always ask for a reason and one rep told me the most she can give me is one month unless its a medical emergency. Different rep said they can't unless you already are in process of getting your next car from them and i imagine they would ask for proof. It prob has to do with prices jumping excessively and more people are requesting to extend their older lease with lower monthly payments
that is correct, I got mine extended for 2 months + 10 days

SV is not the fully loaded model... But if you have the premium package it's a solid deal.

I'm looking for a 2-3 year lease on an SUV, <$200/month if possible. Will probably end up buying a minivan outright in a couple of years.
Located in NYC, will have to register in queens. I can travel if it means getting a good deal.
Please PM, thanks!

The cheapest is probably the Rouge right now. The Rouge S (basic model) will probably be a bit over 200 (maybe 220ish) with ny tax for a 3 year lease with nothing down. It only has 5 seats. If you need more, I don't think there's anything in the 200 range.

For Honda Odyssey , is leasing or buying better? Depreciation?
My last car was a 7 series BMW with an M package that I leased for 3 years and then purchased it after the lease end, depreciated like crazy and now is out of warranty , any repairs or maintenance costs $$$. I even purchased a run flat tire warranty for $2500 as any small pothole hit will damage a $500+ tire. I guess German cars are better to lease or sell before warranty expires. My Honda Odyssey 2002 with 200000 miles still running great, so I guess back to Honda.

If your looking to hold it long term I dont see how it is even a question. Are you suggesting it might be better to lease with intent to buy after for a cheaper total price (cuz I find that hard to believe)?

Could depend on a couple of things -

1. Maintenance costs
2. Financing costs
3. How long you want to own car before replacing it
4. Whether you'd buy new or used
5. Dealer incentives
