Did you pay as quoted?
Do they offer an excessive wear and tear insurance? (most companies offer for $599)

I did. There was an issue with the student discount, because I was two months after the official cutoff time so I wasn't eligible and lost a $500 discount, but I knew that was a real possibility going in. (I ended up negotiating that with the dealer and we compromised anyway for 360 instead of 500). Otherwise, I got the price they gave me.

I was also able to customize the amount down vs monthly directly with the dealer. Also, I noticed that on rodo, the total $ amount paid is the same no matter how much down vs monthly, while when talking with the dealer they adjusted for interest. I wonder if you can manipulate this to your advantage, ie if you want to put $2k down, put on rodo 0 down and when negotiating with the dealer, the total amount will be less because they're taking off interest off of the 2k.

Regarding wear and tear: rodo offered a $793 package, and Hyundai offered a $653 (600 plus tax). I declined Rodo's, and about the time of delivery, I got a 25 percent offer off Rodo's package ... But was kinda bait and switch Bec the one regular wear and tear package was ineligible for a discount because I was in NY. Overall, in the entire rodo process, that was one and only sneaky aspect I encountered. On the whole, rodo was totally transparent and a breeze to deal with
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

I would add that after the misunderstanding with Rodo's wear and tear they offered to do 720 or so. I don't recall exactly but I think Rodo's wear and tear was for 5k damage and Hyundai was 3k

I denied RODO's wear and tear, and got one from Honda, 650 or 750 for up to 30k damage! Paid as quoted and had an amazing experience with them, they offered me delivery for my car but they said (it was height of corona times) that it could up to a week due to corona so they gave me a free LYFT to the dealer!!

They currently are having rodo employees deliver cars and have them take a Lyft back to the city, so it's the same for them either way

Is that the dealer buyout or the buyout for you? The buyout for you including sales tax.
Do they give you the dealer buyout easily?
Was told you need to be a dealer to get it.

How much is the car worth, with 30k of damage waiver?

Yes, it's standard to do 3 way call to get the buyout. Tell vroom you want to do a 3 way call and they will initiate it.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

How can I check that title has been transferred in a lease buyout so I’m clear to remove vehicle from my insurance policy? I don’t want any gaps in coverage...

Btw Many insurers will allow you to remove coverage retroactively. Also it’s possible your insurer has access to this info via the VIN.

Just sold my lease with algo, made a couple bucks.

I'm not getting another car now so what do I do with my plates? Do I get a partial refund on my registration?
If you don't care why would you comment?

NY? Need to surrender your plates before you cancel insurance. Might be able to get a few dollars back from registration.
