Does Algo actually end up giving the same amount which they originally offer? I understand that initial offer is "computer generated". What was your experience?

I tried a few online sites, Algo.com gave me the highest quote by about 4-5k. They called me shortly after to ask some questions including about damage to the car. Told them there's dents all over and a cracked grill. They lowered their offer by just $700. Took some pics, signed a few simple docs and done. Overall it was a very easy process, if I had to do it again it would take me perhaps 30-60 minutes from start to finish.

I'm buying out a friend of mine's lease from Nissan. Is there a way to avoid paying double tax? We both live in NY if thats relevant.

Only if a Nissan Dealer is willing to facilitate.

Used to be any dealer could help but they've limited 3rd party buyouts.

Dealers would charge $1,000 for the process.

That's an accountant question if your trying to avoid sales tax that way.

Don't know those rules, but I do know to avoid saying you paid $0 if you actually paid for it.

I just got a quote for an 8 seater 2022 TRAVERSE LT LEATHER AWD.

(TOTAL VEHICLE PRICE* $43,020.00)

10 k miles per year
$559 per month for 36 months
w/$0 down, plus DMV

Is this a good deal? I am not particular, and I am not so happy going with a Chevy, but I need an 8 seater. Coming from a minivan, but they are just too expensive now.

What's the max extension Ally will permit? They are telling me 6 months max, and starting June only 3 months. Anybody get more than that? Should I keep trying?

makes absolutely no sense to lease at those rates.. paying over half the value of the van for just three years
