FTFY. What do you mean still cheap? Every car lease is based off the $1395 down, this is for 2 years but an option to extend for another year at the same price w/o putting anything down again. So in essence it's the same as any other lease, so yes the price is great.

I wouldn't say "every" car lease is base on money down.... But everyone got the idea.

Not looking to fight over this but that's wrong. I've probably been dealing with leasing a drop longer then you and that's not the case in every lease.

correct me if i'm wrong but money due at signing should include first month's payment, bank fee, registration and tax (on rebates), if you pay more at signing than its coming off the monthly lease payments?

There is an option to roll the $1395 into the lease if that's what you mean. The main reason I didn't do that is when you extend the lease they charge you he amount you've been paying for the the past 2 years, they don't care that you were paying extra to pay off the $1395.

So it's included in the monthly payments.  It doesn't make it any cheaper.

What happens if you actually put money down (above and beyond the $1395)? I assume they don't allow you to continue paying a lower monthly payment.

I know people that paid more money upfront and when extended only needed to continuing paying the same lower monthly fee, but I do not know exactly how it works.

Also if you do a onepay lease- putting all money upfront -you may save money overall (avoiding paying interest if if its calculated into your lease), but  you would not be able to extend the lease beyond the term...

I heard of ppl who have done just that... so it was possible, but not sure if they caught on yet, and even if they didn't who says in three years time it will still work.  Not sure if this point was mentioned up thread yet but if you put money down and them total the car I have been told you would lose the downpayment when the insurance company settles with the auto maker.
