I actually did find an easy way to transfer between 2 aa accounts if they both have the last name, but a different first name. Due to some TSA regulations, AA now allows people to update their personal info online, so you take one of the accounts, change the first name to the same name as the second account, then call aa and say you have 2 accounts and you want to consolidate them
