Wow!
A $200 redeposit fee?

Slowly, the foreign airlines are becoming more valuable.
SQ: no close in booking fee vs UA $75, $20 change fee vs UA $75/$100, $30 redeposit fee vs UA $200.

Except for that pesky YQ.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

This $75 change fee anytime is unbelievable. Go AVIOS GO!

Can't wait for another 100k Avios offer the likes of which we had a couple of years ago. I remember signs in BMG (Lkwd) saying signup for the card we'll give you $1000+. It seems these Avios points may soon become the best domestic currency. No close in fees, OW awards for 1/2 etc.. I know the downside is AA metal (or CX for JFK to YVR!). Add to that the periodic AMEX transfer bonuses and United no longer seems so enticing.

Don't hold your breath.

And BAs value, on the whole, still pales in comparison to UA.

Avios, ever since the change-over has been and will continue to be the best domestic currency. However, for long haul first class redemptions it still pales in comparison to UA (to quote AJK) and will continue to do so.
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

PP's are waived:

"For 2014, the PQD requirement is waived for existing Presidential Plus Cardmembers for Premier Silver, Premier Gold and Premier Platinum qualification. There is no PQD waiver for Premier 1KŪ qualification. The Presidential Plus Card is no longer available to new applicants. "
I have nothing witty to write here....

-Spend 25K on United Explorer (earning 35K miles) or on United Club (earning 37.5K miles).
Maybe i'm doing the math wrong but if your spending 25k on the Club card that will get you 47,500 miles
