Those are the ones I heard recommendations for. I guess a better question is what host do you recommend for wordpress? We are not happy with Dreamhost and GoDaddy.
I use Arvixe and have been very satisfied. I have seen some reports online that there were some recent issues due to a migration but I was not affected. After the second days of yom tov I had a bunch of alerts of it having had some brief outages but nothing I noticed.

Do you use their dedicated wordpress hosting? Will they help you find a problem if there's something wrong with the site?

Also wondering what host other people use.

Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

No, but possibly with fixing (or identifying problems with) an existing site.

Unfortunately I am having issues with them now. I have been down since Thursday and their support which had been great is now horrid.

What is the cause of the downtime?

At first they told me that I was being migrated, but not sure why the original server needs to be shut before the new DNS has a chance to propagate. Meanwhile the new DNS is getting an error and that server is having some sort of issue which they are not describing to me. It is not letting me login to cpanel. I told them to get me onto a stable server. They told me that if I do that it will need to propagate again. I told them that I will need to wait for that anyhow. Haven't heard from them since.

Looking to buy a domain name with a one or a few email accounts, any options with a decent price?
if you're still looking, go with Google domains and you can get free email if you're using gmail. You can set up forwarding and then set up your domain emails as a "send as" in your gmail

Very cool new site that teaches you how to build apps and websites using non-technical tools.
There's free and paid courses.
http://codefree.co/

They have a video showing how they created a functional airbnb clone in just 10 hours using these same tools.

I have an ASP.NET MVC program I need to host that should hopefully have a lot of traffic. I am very lost as to what's good out there. Not specifically looking for the cheapest option. I tried out godaddy's one dollar a month deal with Plesk server and I am getting the feeling it's junky. If I don't go to my site for some time, then when I do go, it takes forever to load. If anyone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm not familiar with that specific plan, but if you plan on having a lot of traffic why not get a more serious hosting server? The headache of not being able to hold up for all of your users isn't worth the $20-$30 a VPS (for instance) costs

These guys are my favorite (I have tried many different companies & consultants over the years) but I think they are focusing more on PPC lately
