So there are now 4 bids, all from groups of Jewish investors. Why are they all so interested all of a sudden? I guess it's considered an opportune time, given the internal opposition to the REIT?

This article mentions 4 bids. My understanding of the order and amounts of the bids:

Rubie Schron - $2.00b
Joe Tabak and others - $2.10b
Joe Sitt - $2.10b+
Reuven Kahane and others - $2.25b
