+1 I park next to the sanitation department. There's always plenty of spots.
What does it take/cost to get in a shuttle from one of the hotels there?
Do they come around a route or need to be ordered (obviously can't do that it not staying in hotel)?

B"H car was there.
But I had a very hard time getting an uber/taxi for such a short trip from terminal to there!
Uber never showed up, and taxi wanted $30!
Anyone else have this experience?
How do you usually go?

I took a shared Uber from the terminal, I took a taxi to the terminal, price was about the same.

Taxi should be metered, not fixed price.

Haven't taken a taxi from the airport in ages, but IIRC there's a supervisor on the taxi line that asks you where you are going before ushering you into a taxi (or as the taxi gets ready to go). If it's such a short ride the taxi driver gets some kind of a note that allows him to skip the line when he comes back into the airport. In NYC I believe it's illegal for a taxi to refuse a fare.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

It used to be that if you told the dispatcher you were going to Queens when you were going to Brooklyn, the driver would be pleased because he would get a shorter line back into the airport but now Brooklyn is in the same category. So, yes, there's an advantage to them with shorter trips, but not THAT short.

They might hate it. But it's still illegal to refuse a fare.

True with yellow cabs but I think the Uber drivers can still do that without much penalty.

Uber drivers might be able to do that, but they don't have to go in the Cab line, so it's not that much of an issue for them. Shared Uber shouldn't be a problem.

Is there a parking service at JFK that meets you at your terminal and takes your car and meets you there with your car upon return?
