I just called chase for someone from my Verizon cell w/ *67
Something I do a few times a week.
Recently they always made me repeat my name and they sounded surprised.
Today i called the "614" number on the back of his INK card and she says isn't this *Mimi K.*?
Apparently *67 doesn't work with Chase. (or is it My cell?)
There were times I called the same dept 5x in a row under different names with an unusual issue and now that I know it was all the same caller ID I feel very dumb.

Anyone know when it works and when it doesn't?

I'm not very happy right now!

You can't block your number for toll free calls.

Dan - He said he dialed 614 not 800.

Maybe they can tell by your voice.

you can get an "ani stripper" ANI stands for Automatic Number Identification and even if someone calls you from *67 you can still get there number..

you can get around CID even when calling a toll-free, by spoofing. but that doesnt help when calling banks and other legal/financial institutes because they use ANI technology on which CID block/spoof doesnt work

or spoof number

i used it last yr with my Plat story (wow i was so noooooob then) and it worked wonders!!!!!! they thought i called from the number i plugged in and vwala! account was approved! my wife though of this idea!
