No reputable restaurants in New Haven IIRC.  They had a bakery in the supermarket, not sure if it's still there.

I asked my friend in New Haven if that place is kosher.  He said, "Nope, salads and bugs and no mashgiach temidi, at best kosher style.  Yale Rabbi has even told students to avoid."

No idea re food.
things to do: Mystic seaport historic site (I've done the 2 day pass.  Got there the 1st day in pm after traveling. and went the next morning, too.), Aquarium.
Once did a scientific type boat trip for half a day.'exploring' the estuary.
In Norton CT, we went on board a navy submarine.

I did that as well. Forgot where. Can be quite interesting and fun. Keep in mind, not for little kids or for someone who is claustrophobic.

I eat at the deli in Westville Market, and at a hippy dippy store called "Edge of the Woods" that has panini's and stuff.

I also used to eat at the cafeteria in the JCC called "Mikes" but I heard it has closed down.

It's less than an hour from Providence.  Does Providence have kosher?
