FCC to Fine AT&T $100 Million for Slowing Mobile Data

AT&T Inc. will be fined $100 million for misleading customers about unlimited mobile data plans under a U.S. regulator’s proposal.
The company slowed speeds for customers with unlimited data plans and failed to adequately notify them of the practice, the Federal Communications Commission said in a news release Wednesday.

As if that fine will ever be paid. By the time it's out of court 100mil won't buy you a candy bar.

He fine is not for the actual throttling, rather for not adequately disclosing it to customers.

Either way just expect another FCC recovery charge on your statement...

Can customers at least expect no more throttling, or will they just "adequately notify" you in the small print?
