Yup, up here in the great white north Amex has just initiated its biggest ever wave of shutdowns.

All happened in the past few days, nobody know exactly what they're targeting yet, but they say they're mailing letters.

Wondering, Will this have a long term effect Amex? After all, Dansdeals TPG (sorry for putting you in 1 line..) and all others, wouldn't exist if not for CC/miles churning...

I'm pretty sure DD bread and butter are now amazon, not CCs and for sure not affiliate links from churners.

True. As dan wrote (can't find it) that amazon deals get more traffic.
But my point still stands.
the big boost CC got were bcuz it was valuable, so it was promoted, if they do all kinds of limitations, people will stop promoting.
