Is there a site or the like with listings for kosher home rentals?

There aren't any real sites, though some people may have back houses they rent. I don't really know anyone who rents per se, people who have them usually just let others stay there. Besides that, there is a kosher "hotel" which barely counts as it's not really nice and not in the middle of a Jewish area, but about a 15 minute walk to shul.

There are other benefits in renting a "kosher" home even if I'm not going to use the kitchen, such as having two beds per room instead of one.

I've rented from "frum" places in FL and it's invariably all king beds. Odd.

Many people rent to everyone. Since non Jews like king beds, maybe it's just easier to have those instead of two beds put together? Though I totally agree, it's not guaranteed they'll be separate beds. Sometimes it's a king and there's a pull out couch or twin mattress they have on the floor.

Off the current topic but we stayed recently at the Kimpton Wilshire for shabbos. They were super accommodating. Ate Friday Night in the conference room/lounge area. There’s a unique backyard Friday Night minyan about a 10 minute walk. In the morning we walked to BKLA (abt 15 minutes) and had a great kiddush.

Anyone? That's not accurate. Reservekosher owners vet, IME. Not a full-fledged birur yuchsin, but a few questions while you're chatting can definitely reveal if the person is frum or not. anyway, I personally would not cook in a rented home any differently than a reg Airbnb if I didn't know the owners, but like I said, it's more for location and "off the record" listings I'm asking about.

There are other cities, like PSP, where people have homes they rent out but don't list them anywhere. It's a word of mouth "IYKYK" kind of thing.

For you, I'd say Andaz, since the SLS is more centrally located. Andaz may be nicer for a staycation.

Thinking of taking my family of 5 to LA and SF this summer for the first time. Want to spend few days in each city. Ideally I want to use points for hotel stays but with 5 people it is probably not realistic. Would airbnb be my best option? any advise on accommodation would be appreciated.

Not from L.A (Haven't been in over 15+ years) anyone have good suggestion for lower priced food that is open late at night? i.e 9-11pm

Depends on when, but most places are closed at that time. Some places are open until 10:00, but not many. If you need food until 1:00 a.m., there is a Ralphs with a kosher experience on 3rd and La Brea that will have some prepared food you can buy.

Was in LA last week, so brief food TR. Stupidly, I didn't make it to Lenny's or Next Door. Though the folks I was with who did go said Next Door was far and away the best food on the trip.

Pat's cafe: Everything we tried was great. Blintzes are delicious, stuffed generously and tasting of actual flavorful cheese. Cheesecake is light and airy, fish and chips cooked to perfection, and the roasted cauliflower salad was delicious even for a non salad eater. (insert salad correspondent joke here). I didn't try it, but apparently, the move is to order the watermelon salad and sub the humus dressing for labne that comes with the cauliflower salad. Avocado toast was great, though I would have appreciated a second piece of toast. There was plenty of "topping" for two slices. I had this dish to go and appreciated how they served the poached egg separately so it didn't fall off or get messy in transit.

Boureka: Insanely good. I tried everything they had stock of at the time which was: mushroom, potato, cheese zatar, spinach, the "sandwich", and chocolate. Met the hype and then some.

Pizza Station: Underrated pizza store which the kids enjoyed a few times.

I might grab a bite from Bourekas, and im going with my kids so prefer casual but if next door is the kosher French laundry than i would deff go there. to explain myself a bit further im flexible  to any style cuisine im looking for whoever executes best.
