Tnx, how long does the shuttle usually  take

They come frequently, I'd guesss 10-15 minutes, but then it's a 5-10 minutes ride once you leave the airport (like from T-7). Total could be 30-45 minutes door to door, especially if you're starting in T-1 or going back to T-7.

there was once a rental car shuttle to "parking lot C" location for a second shuttle to take you to the rental. That was a 2nd, longer wait outdoors in the hot sun with all your luggage.
Take that into consideration with the rental rates. While it was a cheaper rate (on Priceline), it took an extra 65-75 minutes to get the car.

I rented a car from ez rent the Suttle comes about every 45 minutes to an hr and then you wait on line for about an hr but they were the cheapest car rental by far for me the other big ones like hertz etc. . Come about every 5 minutes you can check some of this stuff out on yelp

I rented from most firms in LAX, and I came to like Alamo the most. They have self kiosks and you can choose your vehicle from your category. Very good idea. I hopped around looked for the vehicle with leather seats and least mileage and was on my way...

And where you live. People in LA will drive if it's more than a couple of blocks. Coming from NY, I love that, because I can walk with the streets empty.

coming next Shabbos Be'H, seems Roxbury is an 18 minute walk from my airbnb. Rancho is further (40+) and looking at google maps satellite, it looks more like a golf course mainly, are there any good kids jungle gym areas there or is it otherwise worthwhile to trek there on Shabbos? I see the Roxbury has some nice stuff for my kids under sun shades.

Roxbury is closer than Rancho for sure, though even Rancho has play things for kids (the golf course isn't really part of the park). Not sure when Beth Jacob's area is open, but if I had to guess I'd guess not on shabbos afternoon. There's a small park (Robertson Park) on Pruess and Robertson, but it's tiny. There's also a small park (circle park) in the middle of S Beverly Drive (at Bolton Rd) but it doesn't have any equipment. Yet another park is Schachter Park on Beverwil and Beverlywood and that does have lots of stuff for kids (and not much else).

Thanks, oh holy DDF rebbe of LA! on the beth Jacob place, I know it was open during shacharis on Shabbos, I will prob check it out anyway since its close to me. there's also la cienga park 25 minutes from me which looks nice. and if someone is up around Beverly and Fairfax, there was a nice Shabbos park with a large jungle gym called pan pacific park. https://goo.gl/maps/hnrmLPaBTbN2 may as well incorporate these options into wiki with reviews. at some point.

La Cienega Park is also amazing, but depends on where you're staying. Went there a lot on Shabbos afternoon when I was younger. Also has indoor area to chill in.

Just a word of caution: all these parks have sand, so it's you might not be used to that, especially on Shabbos. But they're awesome.
