Reading all the comments in this article as well as many others it seems to me that the anger and hostility on both sides is increasing each day and I worry about the boiling point of this debate. All the people who are saying that this case can start an open dialogue about race in this country are deluded, I think the lines are being drawn at this moment. We are just 5 days post verdict so maybe it will slow down and become calmer but I doubt it.

I wouldnt call it a result of the verdict but the verdict and case in general played a big roll in these hostilities coming out.

Below is a paragraph from an article I read that I feel is dead on.

Oh boy, wait till CV gets on this one. This guy speaks common sense and truth - not a good mixture for libs. This guy is a huge white supremacist and not just that, this guy even has the audacity to make believe he's black, what a racist he is!
But seriously, this guy most definitely knows nothing about blacks, has he spent 40 years with inner city children of color? has he spent time going into places that even black people are normally scared to go?

Has piers even watched the trial? I mean he keeps on making it sound that george zimmerman killed this peace loving teenager simply because he's black.
Do the libs want us to simply ignore the evidence that martin beat the living daylights out of george and that george acted in self defence?

I dont see how anyone can overlook the fact that there was a point in time when Zimmerman was all bloody and bruised and Martin had not a scratch (besides for hands). Where in that do people see a man killing a black teenager for no reason?
