first of all your forgetting to mention that have no idea how to add 3+3. And yes they really can't. Real private schools here where they are solid israli smart and then they get English in the afternoon is like 20k. Your comparing a genius israeli who knows every trupe in the medrash on migilas aicha but has no idea when hes 20 how to apply that knowledge to real life.
p.s it doesn't take away from the fact about how the chinuch here differs from the chinuch in la to the chinuch in Texas to the chinuch on ny. That's your own cheshbon and decision how you want to raid your own family.
If you have any questions please search and then ask. PM me for detailed help.

Lol. For some of the things they teach I might rather pay 12k.

I remember talking to my Israeli cousin once who was complaining to me how much her kids private school in Israel was....
About 2k a year. Made me laugh.

There are schools in Israel that are $2k? you sure that wasn't 2k shek?

Interesting to see it both ways. IMHO derech eretz kadma li'torah.

+1,000 and obviously it's just a generalization but having all that knowledge doesn't help in the end. But yes they are very educated and full of information. I agree with that.  Especially the Bais Yaakov kids I've met.

New York City is simply the best town in the entire Chutz L'Aretz. So much Yidden, Torah, Rabbonim, Rebbes, Yeshivas, Chesed (organizations and people) and so much more. And Yidden from everywhere else are constantly moving into NYC.

For good reason.

What is the purpose of this thread?

He might not know... (I don't pay attention to which board I am in).
Once this thread has been revived, I used to sing the praises of NYC, now it would take a lot for me to want to live that lifestyle again.

The restriction has been lifted.
Aware. You still get a status upgrade.
Obviously, it was meant as a joke with no deep meaning.
