Hey everyone,

Capital One 360 (previously ING) is offering $76 free for opening a no fee 360 SavingsSM account between July 1st and 3rd (with a deposit of $500 or more).

Then, apply for a free 360 Checking account and make 5 transactions (small deposit or debit card transactions) and get $100. Then feel free to take out the cash for net gain of +$176. With spouse this is +$352.

This worth the hassle? Is it only a soft pull when opening the accounts?

Pretty sure that the checking is a hard pull and the savings has no pull. If no one is referring you to the deal, can I? PM me and I'll send you an email with a referral link.

If it's a hard pull, don't think I'm going to do it....

Seems odd they'd do a hard pull if you're just opening a checking account. They aren't giving you a CL, why would they need your credit?

Do you have any recent experience on this?

I know ING used to hard pull, wondering if CRapital 1 took over their bad ideas.... (Who knows? Maybe they even pull all 3)

hard pull from EQ. At least that's what they used to do in the past. My wife opened a checking acc last year and got a hard pull.

Think I'll get the savings bonus even if I already have one? (their system even tells me I do and that I won't get it, still worth trying?)

Dude sweet, is this just for you or is it some kind of special? Going to be using ING/Capitol360 to get my friends accounts in order.
Can you get the deal if you already have a savings and/or checking account with them?
