was that such a good deal?
That one had a current generation i5 processor with 4 GB of RAM and a 500GB 7,200 RPM Hard drive.  Hard to find all that in a nice looking compact laptop for so little.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

There's also shipping and tax (when shipped to NYC), which makes it less exciting a deal.

Unless I'm saving a real boatload of cash I would never buy a refurb.
Dan you need to realize that Dell's "refurbs" sometimes mean that someone customized it and it shipped but he never opened it, or he returned it within 30 days, or the box has a scratch or dent...not all refurbs are created equal and Dell is straight up about why it is called a refurb and sometimes you can get a really good deal.
