What about it? Most things people don't like can easily be converted back to Windows 7 (or earlier) style setups.

Nope, tried it for a week. Didn't see any major advantage over Win7 but plenty of disadvantages.

With a good touchscreen and the start button app, its not not soooo bad.

Love that the BEST feature about Windows 8 is the ability to switch back to Windows 7

I used it since the day it was released till about a month ago.
Loved some features, but had quite some bugs
