Delta leg schedule change by more than one hour
« on: July 04, 2013, 08:42:51 PM »

I got one of the cheap NYC->TLV via AMS tickets. Today I was checking my miles and noticed --

"There has been a change affecting one or more of your flights. Your itinerary has been updated"
They say the leg is from TLV->AMS on the way home.

I see there are no alternative flights from TLV->AMS.
Can I do anything with this e.g. Cancel trip, find a direct flight home to New York?

Definitely cancel. Change to direct: call and ask (and as we say her if at first you don't succeed, HUCA)
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

Here are the rules for tickets to be cancelled and refunded due to flight change:

•There is a cancellation of a scheduled flight and there is no Delta flight with a comparable routing available within 90 minutes of the original time of departure.
•A change in the scheduled departure time of a Delta flight which exceeds 90 minutes.
•A change in the routing of a scheduled Delta flight which adds one or more stops to the original itinerary.
•A change in the routing of a scheduled flight which results in a scheduled arrival time of more than 90 minutes later than the originally scheduled arrival time.
