portable air conditioner and Shabbos clock
« on: July 07, 2013, 02:55:12 PM »
Can anyone recommend a good deal on a portable AC 10,000 - 14,000 BTU that is compatible with a Shabbos clock (will restart after going off on the desired temp) and where I can get a good deal on one?

I used this one before with a wall shabbos timer,

but remember that portable units aren't as efficient as window units, and window units aren't as good as split units (if you are renting split units are not you)

if you invest in more btu you will save money and be cool because your unit wont have to work so hard.

Just a heads up the DeLonghi next to it definitely doesn't work with timers.
