What does 2nd frame mean?
In order to have daily flights they need to use 2 aircraft

Thanks for the explanation. And that kills profitability?

It means that Wizz air and most/all of the low cost carriers don't put people on their payroll just to check people in for flights from Tel Aviv to wherever. Instead, they hire one of the two or three companies that do the ground services on behalf of the airlines.

The same four or five agents will be wearing the Wizz air uniform and do check in and boarding for the flight and an hour later they will put on the EasyJet uniform and do the same for the Easyjet flight. After that they will work the Ryan air flight, etc' etc'.

If your'e not blatantly breaking the rules, they really couldn't care less about collecting ancillary fees since they don't make any more money doing so.

On my recent trip to Varna, nobody was called out for oversize carryons in either direction, and certainly not for having an extra backpack or plastic bag.

In Varna, they truly honored the Wizz Priority service every step of the way: early segregated boarding (including the ability to show up after boarding started and jump the line) and a special segregated part of the bus with first right of getting on the plane (they opened the bus doors in the Priority part of the bus and allowed us to get on the plane before all the rest).

Which airline excepts Elal has their own staff? All belong to a contracted ground company (Like Laufer or GHI). Same is worldwide

TWA still has issues with their own staff in TLV

Interesting. Luftansa is launching service to Eilat ( VDA) in October. Seems like prices to Germany are cheap the question will this effect pricing to America. Will flying to America be cheaper if you go through VDA?

Flying to America from Eilat isn't very convenient. I assume most would prefer a double stop, over driving down south

Seems like XL is leasing Ethiopian 787 to fly the CDG - TLV routes.
Would any recommend trying to fly in these 787 as opposed XL's A330 's?
