I spoke to LY yesterday about the august schedule.
They basically told me that what's currently scheduled is not worth much and will definitely be readjusted based on demand etc

Makes sense. It fully depends on Israel opening their borders

Air Canada landed their first aircraft in Israel since they cut the route back in March, about 40 minutes ago!
Delta's first flight is scheduled to depart JFK today and land in TLV tomorrow.

TK resuming TLV service with 4 weekly flights as of 6/24 expects to ramp up to 2 daily flights.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

TK has been pushing back service dates for Israel since the beginning of June, if not earlier

I'm intrigued by BlueBird airlines they have multiple daily flights ex-TLV starting July 1st.

What are the odds of these being maintained, given that there is no incoming tourism and mandatory quarantine for Israelis?

Dan, can you please post a roundup of airlines currently flying to Israel or restarting in the coming weeks? It was super helpful when you updated the cancellations, and would be helpful to know current travel options. Thanks

The Elal flights are out of Israel are sold out. There is a lot of demand and cargo.

Question for the TAs.  ;)

Looking at potential flights to Crete in August.
On Aug 6th, for e.g, OTA only show me 2 direct flights, on BlueBird.

However when you look at the take off schedule at Ben Gurion that day, there are 10 direct flights, including LY, A3, IZ.

Is it stam the airlines holding the departure slots just in case things open up?

It’s likely charter flights that can’t be purchased on regular OTAs. You can try Israeli OTAs, like gulliver.co.il or easygo.co.il to try to book those.
