I just noticed Arkia is selling flights to Seychelles. Up to 4x weekly in December. Starting at 450 euros for return flights.
Seychelles is one of the few green countries left which are letting Israelis. No quarantine required, just negative PCR tests
Additional capacity to Seychelles, with Sundor operating LY's 787 from Hanuka

What about Shabbos? Will Rozenberg allow Sun D'Or to operate on Shabbos?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

He would probably need to figure out some loopholes halachicaly to keep the status quo, no?
He's torah observant, so I can't believe it's very simple to have his company operate Shabbos.

Not too hard.

You sound like CV now.

What are you basing your "not too hard" statement on? You are aware that this is dealing with a market that is majority Jewish, Jewish crews, etc..

And if the main motivation in getting into this has some spiritual or Jewish nexus, then how could not keeping Shabbos 100% be part of the plan?

They own only 40% of the airline. How hard would it be to not own it on Shabbos?
