I'm sure they will start a status match campaign soon in order to convince locals to give them their business. That's what Virgin did when they launched, and what UA did when they launched the SFO-TLV line.
But no chance they will match my TP to Concierge Key

Any info on the mysterious ElAl cancellations for flights next week?

(I know of two flights that were removed from the system and cancelled with emails saying "due to Covid-19... cancelled)

(I have heard conflicting reports of it being a mistake. That they are back on. Back off. etc.)

Any updates appreciated.

Wrong thread, but the government is only approving minimal slots. United, Delta, Israir, Arkia, Elal, and AF all modified their schedules for next week in the last 24h. TK, LX, & AC are still scheduled to fly but likely to get cancelled.

Many flights were canceled because the government didn't allow them to fly. March 10th LY001 to JFK was originally canceled and then was put back on schedule

Trying all my options for a flight TLV>NYC for the next week, as my UA flight was cancelled. Looking at using Qantas points with a stopover on LHR (LY to LHR and BA from LHR to JFK). It won't let me see how much money I will have to pay, as I don't currently have enough points in my account. I don't want to transfer points before I found out.

Anyone have any idea? Anyone out there with more than 44,000 Qantas points that can check? Thanks.

I find it very hard to believe LY is releasing partner availability for these high demand flights.
You may have better luck with LH and UA

LY to LHR and United to EWR is not that expensive for cash. However, you do need to overnight in London.

With an empty plane that wasn't marketed?

It was some sort of security/diplomatic mission with Egypt or a third country.
