The 777 is the main reason to fly AA.
Why?

J in a 777 > J in a 787 or a 339.

J in a 777 > J in a 787.
I mean, I guess you get an extra inch or so, but UA offers more privacy for solo travel and better couple seat options. And best of all, it's not AA.
Plus, you really do notice the 787 pressurization advantage after a long flight.

I never had major privacy issues. I loved TK's 777 which didn't have much privacy but had one of the best J product to TLV (I am hoping to finally make a stopover in Turkey for a few days the next time I fly to TLV, though I doubt I will get their 777 on any leg).

Haven't paid much attention to the pressurization advantage. How does that play out?

I feel noticeably less fatigued and dried out after a long-haul on a 787 than on a 777.

No. But TPG and other bloggers seem to think it is. One probably wrote it and they all fell for it.

My airbus 320 lax-SFO felt ww2 vintage
Just boarded the SFO - tlv 787-9. 2-2-2 configuration contrary to original aircraft .
I'm told that all the aisles are empty, so everyone has an empty seat next to them.

ETA: This cabin is 40% occupied and there was a standby list for economy
