I think they only don’t let in the carry on.

I had a souvenir bullet in my carry on and security made me go back and check it in.

TSA allows ammunition to be carried in the checked luggage.

With regards to the Israeli side, the only thing I could find on LY website is the below, not sure if a bullet fits any of the definition.

Any update on the direct Manila flights? There was such hoopla a few months back but seats never got released for sale and there is no longer any mention of them opening the flights.

What is the best option for me to look at if I want to fly from Tel Aviv to San Francisco with a few day stopover in Newark but then flying direct from San Fran back to Tel Aviv?  How do I book it the cheapest way for coach?
