Looking at 2 flights TLV-LHR on March 27:
BA164 16:40-19:55 (5 hr 15 min) - no points availability
VS458 16:30-21:05 (6 hr 35 min) - excellent points availability
Why is the VS flight 1h 20m longer than the BA flight for the same route? Seems like all VS flights TLV-LHR from March 23-30 are an extra 1hr longer than usual. No other airline has this delay. The VS flights before and after that date are 5h 35m. Anyone know why? What are the chances VS458 lands 1hr earlier than scheduled?
Just got the following email regarding my flight Sunday:
Hello,
Were sorry to advise that due to a complication regarding the summertime change in Israel, your flight with us has been scheduled with the incorrect departure time in Tel Aviv.
Our teams have been working hard behind the scenes to update this for you and the departure time is now showing correctly within your booking. Please check My Booking at
www.virginatlantic.com to review.
Please rest assured the duration of this journey remains the same and your arrival in London Heathrow is as scheduled previously.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any confusion this causes, as well as any impact to your plans before your departure. We hope despite this you have an enjoyable flight with us, we look forward to welcoming you onboard.
In short, it leaves at 17:25, not 16:30. Im just surprised no one on their end realized until now.
