would be nice if they would add widebody.
+1, they are really uncompetitive in the US-TLV J/F market.

What are the new flight times? That is a much more important question if you want to use these flights to connect in Europe and continue to the U.S

Looking to use my aa, united and/ or ba points to fly out of tlv to any tourist destination in Europe.
However do not want to fly through an arab/ muslim country or germany.  Any suggestions without huge fuel surcharges such as through london.

Berlin, Dusseldorf, Vienna, Munich all cost 10k BA with no fuel charges (some of those cities may be seasonal routes). From Berlin you can fly to many cities in Europe for 4.5k BA miles.

Get an elcheapo flight to Larnaca, Cyprus.  From there you can catch BA direct to London for far lower surcharges with Avios.  Only 17K Avios in Biz, I think 9-10K in economy. They operate a 767 with 34" pitch and relatively wide seats in business vs. 30" in economy.

Other choice is Israel - Madrid with Iberia, also low surcharges and low Avios.  I believe 20K in business, with a real business class like El Al operates to Europe (perhaps ~45" pitch, footrests, generous recline).

AA would only be worthwhile for Israel to Hong Kong/Thailand, 40K miles for business.  A complete waste to Europe.

Miles to Europe rarely make sense, although Israel LH accounts get J for 25k or 50k rt, w/ the expanded space

Any idea why they would put it on the MUC route over FRA?
